 A hotel industry in continuous development
The hotel industry in Nice is in constant evolution. The establishments are modernising, moving upmarket and carrying out numerous embellishments and renovations, and others are being built!
Nice now has more than 200 hotels, i.e. approximately 12,000 rooms. New establishments are still expected this year, such as the 5* Le Victoria hotel (Maison Albar group) a few steps from the beaches, or the 4* DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in the station area. Also announced is the opening of the 4* Résidence Palais Ségurane hotel in the Port / Garibaldi district at the end of 2023!
Among the very recent openings, let us note the Anantara Nice Plaza 5* and its 152 rooms just a stone's throw from the sea! Or the Radisson Nice Airport 4* with its 151 rooms and meeting spaces or the Sheraton 4* with its 234 rooms, its 300m2 plenary room and its numerous sub-commission rooms.

 In 2025, Nice will host the United Nations Conference on the oceans
From 5 to 15 June 2025, Nice will host a global event, bringing together heads of state and government from around the world for a week.
The UNOC - or United Nations Ocean Conference - will be co-hosted by France and Costa Rica in 2025.
And it is in Nice that this summit will be held, a major event in the fight against global warming and the preservation of maritime spaces. Between 50 and 100 heads of state and nearly 20,000 delegates are expected to attend!
