Conference and inauguration of the statue of Lord Winston Churchill

5 p.m.: conference (in English) by Paul Rafferty on the theme “Winston Churchill paints the Côte d’Azur”
6.30 p.m.: inauguration of the monumental 2.30m high statue overlooking the Lindbergh quay with the The International Winston Churchill Society, Laurence Geller CBE and The Rubin Foundation.
Un hommage à Lord Winston Churchill, grand Homme d’État mais également peintre émérite qui affectionnait la Côte d’Azur et particulièrement Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat qu’il a représenté dans plusieurs de ses œuvres.
Conférence (en anglais) donnée par l’artiste Paul Rafferty sur la thématique « Winston Churchill peint la Côte d’Azur », d’après le nom de l’ouvrage édité par l’artiste lui-même et répertoriant les œuvres peintes par Lord Churchill pendant les années 20’ et 30’ sur les Rivages azuréens
Puis inauguration par la commune de Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat avec la participation de The International Winston Churchill Society, Laurence Geller CBE et The Rubin foundation d'une statue monumentale.
