The Saint-Jean annual festival is an opportunity to share memorable moments, uphold traditions and get together in celebration, among the backdrop of the village's emblematic colours, yellow and blue, and of course, not forgetting the traditional striped sailor's shirts in honour of the sea.

FUNFAIR
Inflatables, hook-a-duck, a carousel, rifle and crossbow shooting, trampolines.

Friday, 20 June
7pm - MANJUCA
Join us for a festive, traditional meal with music by the Lu Ribaire band.
Followed by an evening of dancing led by "D'JAY".
Traditional Nice menu: Niçoise platter, veal gnocchi, lemon tart
Adults: €35 Children under 12: €20 (by cheque only).
Venue: Théâtre sur la Mer.

L'APÉRO DES FRENCHY
For this year's Fête de la Musique, the Apéro des Frenchy will be decked out in the colours of Saint-Jean.
On the programme: a live DJ will be spinning French hits from the 50s to the present day. From Charles Aznavour to Indochine, Céline Dion, Claude François, IAM and Larusso.
The "Frenchy village" will be packed with local caterers.
Food, friends, good wine and the best of French music for a fully festive evening!
Dress code: Sailor theme
Food and entertainment on site. A bar is also available.
Admission = €5 - admission includes entry to the party only, drinks and food are excluded.

3.30pm - POINTUS RACE
A traditional, fun-filled race of local traditional fishing boats in which you can watch and cheer from the Cros Deï Pin beach and the Promenade Rouvier.

5.30pm - BOULES COMPETITION (arranged triples)

Tuesday, 24 June
8.45pm – PROCESSION
Children and families are warmly invited to join in this traditional procession! Departing from the Avenue des Fleurs, the procession will head off by lantern light to the old lighthouse.
La Sirene boat will welcome families to lay wreaths in the sea at the entrance to the port.
10pm – THE SAINT-JEAN BONFIRE
The Saint-Jean bonfire continues to be a vibrant tradition, with villagers gathering around the bonfire to celebrate the occasion.
Traditionally, young men jump over the fire once it dies down.

10.30pm - FIREWORKS
Enjoy a breathtaking view of this superb fireworks display from the harbour restaurants, the village, or the Cros Deï Pin beach. A guaranteed treat!
