Glauque

Concert

21 September 2024

On the map of current music, Glauque has marked the territory with its strong identity. Open to electronic experiments, the group modifies the DNA of hip-hop and explodes the codes of French song.

An all-terrain group, an unrivaled collective, Glauque weaves its way between algorithms and news feeds. Anchored in the heart of a hyperconnected society, the band plays on the double meaning of its name. Between the bright color of seawater and the endlessly hopeless, Glauque's universe is based on striking contrasts. Thus, through its music, the group crystallizes the paradoxes of the times. At the crossroads of technological progress, ecological challenges and a humanity in danger, the world of fake news is not necessarily the one we see. Like George Orwell or Philip K. Dick, Glauque's reality maintains links with dystopia and science fiction stories.

Beyond the euphoria and captivating beginnings of a first EP acclaimed by critics in 2020, Glauque is now ready to take the next step with the release of its first album.

No need to remind you, Glauque does not tend to embellish reality, but to dive into it head first and confront us with its inextricable findings. The lace is embroidered with internal struggles, incessant struggles, deterministic questions. What to think, what to follow or not to follow, what place to take in a world where we can question the ever-growing absurdity of a daily life often taking the form of a scenario where black and white oppose each other without nuance. Always with this energy of urgency, Glauque's contemporary poetry is sharpened on penetrating electronic beats.

Haiken in the first part
He keeps this melancholic framework, with effective choruses designed to speak to as many people as possible. For several years, Haiken has been developing in Paris by accompanying himself with musicians with his collective, the Rubiks' Club, where he offers showcases / open stages.
