Plaçon – Bruch – Brahms
Concert
12 June 2026
Lionel Bringuier invites us on a musical journey between fantasy and romantic passion.
After the world premiere of Yann Plançon's The Lamp of the Arga'Haam, a dark and epic overture inspired by the world of dark fantasy, the setting changes with Max Bruch's famous Violin Concerto No. 1, whose poetry and captivating virtuosity are captured by Akiko Suwanai. Brahms' Symphony No. 2 will close the evening with a luminous flourish. Sometimes called the composer's "pastoral," it unfolds ample and serene melodies, bathed in an atmosphere of clarity and fullness.
