Une Journée particulière

Show

From 10 to 12 January 2024

Une Journée particulière is first and foremost the story of two lonely souls: the wife and good mother Antonietta, played by Laetitia Casta, and the radio commentator Gabriele, a cultured homosexual, played by Roschdy Zem.

These two individuals, opposed by everything, meet in the particular context of a day under the Duce's fascist regime, marked by Hitler's visit to Rome in 1938. Each in isolation and subject to the dictates of society, they will find in the other a form of freedom and listening to reveal their secrets.
Through this work, which can easily be compared to our own times, Lilo Baur powerfully challenges the audience to question intolerance and withdrawal.
