Aurélien Pontier, a virtuoso pianist of the young French generation, stands out for his profound playing and great virtuosity.

He made his debut at the Paris Opera at just 9 years old and underwent rigorous training with Marta Zabaleta before joining the CNSM in Paris in the class of Jean-François Heisser and Rena Chereshevskaia. He then continued his studies at the Arts Academy in Rome, benefiting from the guidance of masters such as Murray Perahia and Maria João Pires.

A winner of the Vladimir Krainev Competition and the Chioggia International Competition, he has performed as a soloist and chamber musician on international stages. He has played with prestigious orchestras such as the Orchestre National de Lyon and the Kharkov Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of conductors such as Sylvain Cambreling and Enrique Mazzola. A passionate chamber musician, he has collaborated with renowned artists, including Marc Coppey, Tatiana Vassilieva, and Bertrand Chamayou.

A guest at numerous festivals and prestigious venues, he notably closed the Montpellier Radio-France Festival, a concert broadcast live on France Musique. His artistic commitment and sensitive interpretation make him a key figure in contemporary piano.
