Built in the middle of the nineteenth century, this monument also called the Church of the Immaculate Conception, stands at the heart of Place Île de Beauté and dominates the port of Nice
Declared a historical monument in 1991, the Church of Our Lady of the Port was built between 1840 and 1853.
The façade of this neoclassical building includes 4 monumental columns which, despite their late addition in 1893, are in perfect harmony with the architectural silhouette of the church. A statue of the Virgin Mary is located on the top of the Church of Our Lady of the Port.
