This exhibition is the first retrospective devoted to Martine Doytier. It brings together all her known works to date.
Martine Doytier was an artist in Nice from 1971 to 1984. Over thirteen years, she developed a captivating body of work.
Her sharp eye and ability to sketch characters and tell their stories produced a body of work that was constantly evolving, and led her to undertake what would be her ultimate, unfinished work: "L'Autoportrait", a painting she worked on for five years that passionately describes her everyday world.
