The Olive Festival promises a day full of activities, designed to educate, entertain, and celebrate the olive tree and its by-products.
While exploring the Palais de l'Agriculture, located on the Promenade des Anglais seafront, visitors can:
- Sample various products and participate in tasting workshops to appreciate the aromatic range of PDO olive oils from Nice and Provence.
- Watch pruning demonstrations and, throughout the day, receive expert advice on olive cultivation, including presentations of suitable equipment.
- Attend lectures on the history of olive cultivation, the benefits of olive-based products presented by an olive therapist, cultivation methods, and more.
- Explore a dedicated market offering olive trees, oils and related products, as well as handicrafts inspired by the olive tree.
- Participate in cosmetics and writing workshops, discover a watercolor exhibition, and watch an Ikebana floral art demonstration featuring olive trees.
- Enjoy local flavors from a food truck.
