Through a video installation blending documentary fiction and critical speculation, the artist explores the invisible chains of micro-work, the geopolitics of the image, and the mechanisms of delegation that shape so-called autonomous technologies.
Mechanical Hurds thus reveals the bodies, territories and conflicts rendered invisible in the making of AI, and questions the political violence encapsulated in images and algorithms.
