HK Poète en cavale
Show
31 January 2026
Paris, autumn 2029. Hadad, poet and actor, singing madman, storyteller of our times, is on the run.
He has just escaped from the theater where he was assigned to perform as part of a program to reform artists with deviant thinking, for acts of chronic poetic insubordination.
Hounded for his words, he stubbornly and joyfully sails against the grain of the times. Armed with only his notebook and pen, he defies the reason of the strongest with alexandrines and metaphors; invoking in turn Hugo, Jaurès, Apollinaire, Rimbaud, Louise Michel, Jacques Brel, and so many others... When darkness threatens us, when despair stalks us, poetry is that small glimmer within us; that voice that resonates, those words that touch us, awaken us, challenge us, amaze us; and which, in a certain way, also reason with us. A musical theatre show, written and performed in verse and song, "Poète en cavale" is an ode to irreverence, freedom of expression and living together.
