Immeuble du 15 rue Gounod

The Parisian architect Emmanuel Brun is one of the few to have offered the city of Nice art nouveau references, where the curve inspired by plants is favored.

In this building completed in 1900, he integrated colored touches on the corner by means of a ceramic thistle motif. A brightly painted ornamentation was originally placed between the top floor windows. The visitor is greeted by a peacock above the entrance.
