It was built in several phases, between 1957 and 1968, by the architect Jean François-Robert.
It is representative of the seaside buildings of the period, with the horizontality of its spindly balconies (interspersed, here, with the vertical screens of the staircases) and the blue color of the roller shutters and the tent canvases which participate, here, in the general composition.
