Je crois que dehors c’est le printemps
Theatre
From 13 to 15 November 2024
Gaia Saitta takes on this true story alone on stage, recounting a woman's tortuous path through the solitude of tragedy.
A mother who fights against the unbearable, a woman who thinks she'll never be able to love again, and yet sets out to rebuild her life, step by step. An intimate, delicate exchange with the audience, who themselves become characters in the story, bearing fragments of her life and witnessing her struggle to find happiness once again.
It was a few years ago, in Switzerland. Irina Lucidi, of Italian origin, had a job, a husband and two daughters. Nothing foretold the drama to come. One day, the father disappeared, taking the two children with him. He is found dead a few days later - a suicide - and the two little girls are lost forever. Without the bodies, mourning is impossible and life oscillates between the secret hope of a reappearance and the abyss of pain. Irina Lucidi is suspended between the abyss of tragedy and the desire to live again.
