Pascal Lac opened his gourmet boutique in the rue Gioffredo just after the inauguration of the new Place Masséna. Since then, this chocolatier, who works with "pure plantation" cocoa beans, has received the 2008 and 2009 Chocolate Award, given by the chocolate enthusiasts' Club des Croqueurs de chocolat. (Only 9 craftsmen in France have received this prize).
