Molières et ses Molières

Theatre

27 September 2025

Scene after scene, from comedy to drama, this show explores the world of Molière by making his works a mirror of our current society.

Through classics such as Don Juan, Tartuffe, and The Miser, he invites us to reflect on human behavior and questions that resonate throughout time.

Using an educational approach, he incorporates moments of audience interaction, encouraging collective reflection and text analysis. Each scene becomes a space for learning and dialogue, inviting us to question our values, our failings, and the challenges of our time in light of Molière's works. This production is a "Molière à la carte" (a "pick and choose") where spectators choose scenes based on the themes of the Molière Awards. The central theme of this show is the Molière Awards ceremony. Fabienne Colson and Pascal Paolini are the presenters who lead the ceremony. The spectators choose by show of hands the scene they want to see performed in each category. Then, the actor-presenters transform into actors to perform the chosen scene.
