Mythos
Show
From 02 to 04 April 2026
With Mythos, the Anima Théâtre Company takes us into a dreamlike world, between puppets, video projection and shadow theater, where mythology is juxtaposed with family history.
This wordless, utterly poetic show blurs the boundaries of reality and offers a dive into an impressive, phantasmagorical universe. A unique theatrical experience.
In this show, Yiorgos Karakantzas explores tragedies: Greek and historical tragedies, personal and family tragedies, and the tragedies of our societies today. He delves into his childhood, marked by Greek mythology and particularly Homer's Iliad and Odyssey, which his father read to him. Inspired by the events and people who marked his life, he creates the initiatory journey of a little girl, lost on a dystopian island, who must find the exit from this labyrinth, following in the footsteps of the heroes, monsters, and deities of these ancient stories.
