"Mythos" is a voyage of initiation where fiction and reality intertwine in a poetic visual narrative.
Show presented as part of the "Festival Trajectoires".
Combining puppetry, shadow theater and video mapping, Yiorgos Karakantzas returns to his childhood, where his imagination was deeply nourished by mythology. Between myth and reality, Mythos tells of a wandering child in search of his father, who must find his way out of the labyrinth of his own life. The monsters of reality he must face are far more petrifying than the Gorgon. In this journey of initiation, he has to retie all the fragments of Ariadne's thread..., a personal, universal journey imbued with beauty, emotion and humanity.
