La Joséphine is a farm in the Alpes-Maritimes region committed to organic farming. Attached to our Nice roots, we cultivate with rigor, combining the evolution of practices with the preservation of traditions.
La Josephine embodies a desire to cultivate, produce, and pass on knowledge.
Our farm is the fruit of a family project, rooted in the heart of the Nice hinterland, where the land passed down by our ancestors is a precious, living, and respected asset. Committed to the environment, the quality of our products, and the preservation of local agriculture, La Josephine adopts a sustainable and diversified production approach. We are certified organic (AB) for all of our production. Our olive products (olive oil, table olives, olive paste) also benefit from the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) for Olive Oil and Olives of Nice.
Our identity, our vision:
We created La Josephine to promote high-quality, human-scale agriculture capable of meeting food and environmental challenges.
Through our work, we are committed to a respectful approach to the land and all living things, guided by the conviction that every action, every gesture, must contribute to preserving our environment and agricultural landscapes for future generations.
We have chosen versatility, a very demanding model but one deeply rooted in our values.
Our products: market gardening (seasonal fruits and vegetables), extra virgin olive oil, table olives, olive paste, and honey.
Our production sites are located in the municipalities of La Roquette-sur-Var, Levens, Tourrette-Levens, Saint-Blaise, Aspremont, and Ilonse.
We organize guided tours (multilingual) of our various activities and offer tasting sessions.
