Scènes de la vie conjugale
Theatre
From 11 to 13 February 2026
In 2020, Christophe Perton performed Jean Cocteau's Les Parents Terribles at the TNN. We welcome his new creation based on the series by Swedish filmmaker Ingmar Bergman. A great theatrical moment of comedy, love, and heartbreak.
Marianne and Johan have been married for ten years. A journalist interviews them to uncover the secret of their radiant happiness. As the conversation unfolds, their answers reveal a hidden dissatisfaction, jeopardizing the smooth and perfect appearance of their union…
Scenes from a Marriage is the chronicle of real life, that of a happy and unhappy marriage. Ingmar Bergman, with incredible lucidity and immense humanity, brings to light the truth of what is at stake between a man and a woman. He gives Marianne and Johan the words to express what they feel, to talk about their feelings, their doubts, their pain. This hellish journey into the torments of a couple holds up a mirror to our own marital splendors and miseries.
With Astrid Bas, Romane Bohringer, Stanislas Nordey, Christophe Perton, Simon Perton [currently being released]
