Dive into a sparkling universe where the stars guide our adventures and light up our nights!

During this astronomy-themed week, passionate speakers will organize lunar and solar observation sessions, offering you a unique opportunity to explore our skies.
Creative workshops will allow young and old to immerse themselves in the art and science of astronomy. Rocket building, a workshop on creating a star map...

For adventurers, a hike under the stars, accompanied by the Tinée Mercantour Guides, will offer you a magical experience under the celestial vault.

Sunday, July 27:
4-7 p.m.: Activities with Florent Bailleuil: Water rocket demonstration for families – Ages 6 and up – €5/person – Chastellarès parking lot – Register at the tourist office

Thursday, July 31:
10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.: Observation of the Sun and its Prominences
6:30-7:30 p.m.: Astro-mythology lecture “The Summer Sky: The Words of Astronomy and Its Myths”
“Rémi Collin, author of the book Balades célestes published by Delachaux et Niestlé in 2024 and an astronomical mediator, offers a discovery of the summer sky through the lens of the history of Greek words and myths. From the Caucasian eagle to the god of medicine, from the powerful Hercules to the centaur Chiron, discover or rediscover fascinating stories that tell us about the history of humanity and our ancestral connection with the sky.” Followed by a book signing. Lecture for the whole family!

Friday, August 1st:
9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.: “Astro-naturalist hike: in the company of a qualified mountain guide and an amateur astronomer, set off to discover the local biotope in the heart of exceptional landscapes. Between observing the Sun, reading the landscapes and vegetation and discovering the links between observing the sky and measuring time, fill up on knowledge in a pleasant and dynamic atmosphere, supervised by two young mediation professionals.” 5€/person - registration at the tourist office
6:30pm: Lecture on the theme of stars by Anthony Turpaud, photographer – Free – Open to all – Rovery Room

Saturday, August 2nd:
9pm: Night walk and observation of the starry sky, departing from the Auron resort with Alix Millucci – “Ciel et Cimes” mountain guide
€5/person (register at the tourist office)
