FRAGMENT 1: THE GREAT STORIES

Today, a theater troupe performs the last of the shows they've been putting on for 10 years, based on the great stories of literature. But just as this final performance is meant to be an artistic high point before they part ways, misunderstandings and internal conflicts emerge. Over and over again, the director, actresses and musicians have gradually lost touch with the notion of truth between the stories they tell and their reality. Now, 10 years after their debut, they find themselves finally telling their own story.

FRAGMENT 2: DEMASCULINIZE ME

Performance, toughness, virility, insensitivity, authority: what are the different "masks" that men wear from generation to generation? What societal obligations prevent them from revealing themselves? Couldn't they finally look at themselves differently?

Part stage performance, part visual creation and part sound experience, "Démasculinisez-moi" is a show that invites us to take another look at our bodies and the unspoken laws they obey, and to rethink the way we conceive of masculine identity.
