Villa Bagatelle et lotissement Fay

Built in 1872, this house develops a seaside style with an overhanging roof and a wooden awning-balcony.

It is part of one of the city's first subdivisions, the Fay subdivision, created in 1863. While large villas were built on the promenade, its creator Alexis Fay, in the specifications of the subdivision, favored "small cottages in the English style" on small lots intended for "families of average means".
