Villa Sabatier

This building was built between 1858 and 1865 by the architect Victor Sabatier for himself.

The architect, who had studied at the Beaux-Arts in Paris, built a Louis XIII style facade with imitation brick and stone facing. But, for the volumes, the reference is an Italian-style villa with loggias, galleries and terraces revealing the importance of views and outdoor spaces in a resort town.
