A small village in the Moyen Pays Niçois, perched at an altitude of 350 metres, Saint-Blaise stretches over 804 hectares, from the majestic banks of the Var to the hilltops overlooking the road.
The village is a beautiful, colourful ensemble, nestling around its church with its-tiled bell tower. The village is dominated by the old village and the ruins of a medieval castle, offering walkers lovely views over the valley.
Along the way, you can discover the works of artist Jean-Pierre Augier scattered around the village. Augier finds his inspiration in old tools and iron objects, which he transforms by assembling them into moving figures or animals. His favourite themes are women, couples, motherhood, fables and tales, mythology and religious subjects.
