Bases is the new project of Spanish pianist Willy Haroun, premiering in 2024 in an opening concert of the new season in the Mozart Hall of the Kultur- und Kongresszentrums Liederhalle in Stuttgart.
After completing classical and jazz training at the most prestigious Swiss universities, Willy Haroun launched a solo project in which he combines classical music with jazz and improvisation through personal arrangements and compositions inspired by the great masters. His sound, emotion, virtuosity, creativity, and eclecticism are his personal trademark.
Willy Haroun seeks to interact with the music he performs and with the musicians and composers who inspire him, through a highly personal interpretation based on a conscientious study of the original texts and their language. His repertoire is characterized by its eclecticism. It includes classical music, Latin American-influenced jazz, contemporary music, and popular music, as well as his own compositions and improvisations.
He is currently touring with his new project, "BASES," and regularly performs in Europe.
