Discover OcéaNice Fam Trip: Nice, a premier MICE destination

From 16 to 19 October 2025, the Nice Côte d’Azur Tourist Office’s Convention Bureau welcomed 42 European MICE agencies as part of its ‘Discover OcéaNice’ Fam Trip, a major initiative dedicated to promoting Nice’s new Convention Centre.
An exclusive tour of the OcéaNice Convention Centre
Highlights of the programme included a visit to the OcéaNice Convention Centre and a professional workshop bringing together participants and 35 partners from Nice, including hoteliers, incoming agencies, event venues and activity providers. Organised in the form of individual meetings, this B2B workshop encouraged concrete and high-quality exchanges, followed by a convivial lunch on the ‘Lympia 360°’ rooftop terrace offering an exceptional panoramic view of the port and the Baie des Anges.
The OcéaNice Convention Centre, through the local company Spada, has just been awarded a Trophée BTP d’Avenir 06 for its functional and environmental performance*. 94% of the materials used are reusable or recyclable. As for its agenda, more than 170 events are already scheduled between now and 2029!

Hospitality, lifestyle and Mediterranean experiences
The programme also highlighted Nice’s hospitality excellence, with the discovery of a selection of iconic 4* and 5* establishments such as La Pérouse, Le Méridien, Beau Rivage, Radisson Blu, AC Hôtel Nice by Marriott, Anantara Plaza, Westminster, Maison Albar Le Victoria, Hôtel du Couvent, Le Negresco.
Participants also enjoyed original team-building experiences that combined authenticity and conviviality: an iPad rally in Old Nice, a pétanque tournament and a ride in vintage cars along the coast. Discovering the local cuisine was also a common theme, with lunches combining refinement, creativity and exceptional views.
An operation promoting international influence
This long weekend immersion demonstrated Nice’s ability to combine modern infrastructure, event excellence and the Mediterranean way of life.
Through this ambitious operation, the Nice Côte d’Azur Convention Bureau reaffirms its leading role in the international promotion of Nice Côte d’Azur as a MICE destination, now recognised as a major player on the European scene.
