The Musée des Beaux-Arts Jules Chéret, the Palais Lascaris, the Musée Masséna and the Bibliothèque de Cessole are presenting the exhibition Living for Art. The Trachel and Rothschild collections in Nice.
This exhibition highlights the works generously donated to the City of Nice by these two great families. These donations, made between 1892 and 1912, include more than one thousand seven hundred works of various types: archaeological objects, drawings, watercolours, paintings, sculptures, prints, as well as furniture, ceramics and textiles. They form the core of Nice's museum collections.
